In PodiumxRT we've applied the most powerful unbiased path-tracing and denoise technology provided by Intel's OSPray and applied it to a SketchUp extension and companion product for SU Podium V2.6 as well Podium Browser.
This means higher quality rendering
- Photoreal - high-performance, unbiased path-tracer that generates photorealistic imagery through physically based light interaction.
- Interactive uses intelligent approximation algorithms to maximize performance and realism while minimizing noise.
- AI-based Denoiser performs predictive noise reduction during the pathtracing process, speeding the process to a final image very quickly.
- Materials and lighting: Use of SU Podium's material properties and lights, including Light Emitting Materials.

HDRI / Image-based lighting
PodiumxRT includes five HDRI backgrounds in the installation, and licensed users are entitled to 40 additional HDRI backgrounds/skies that can be downloaded on the website and added to PodiumxRT.

Soft Light Shadows and DOF
PodiumxRT provides additional features not in SU Podium such creating depth of field environment on the fly inside the PodiumxRT rendered scene. In addition, soft shadows for point lights is providing with slowing the render time.
Visualization comparable to SU Podium but so much faster
PodiumxRT produces gorgeous still imagery, and makes a fantastic CPU based visualization option to complement SU Podium. All SU Podium material properties are supported—design with the Podium Browser library for maximum efficiency!
